Offensively this game has been very sloppy. Coatesville's Boggs breaks 75-yard TD run but aside from that, Red Raiders have 10 yards on 10 carries. Coatesville's defense has been sound, especially in the secondary, where Worley picked off one pass. Malvern just 1-5 for 12 yards in the air and haven't been able to gain a rhythm or capitalize when in Coatesville territory, including a drive that started on the 24.
There was also a weird turn of events when Malvern's Billy Ford was called for an intentional grounding on first and 10. After some confusion and a late call, the chain crew put the marker at 3rd down. No one caught it and after a short run and a punt, Boggs broke the next play for the only score of the game so far.
